Milnrow & Mark Bentham Go Their Separate Ways

Milnrow Band and Musical Director Mark Bentham have parted company by mutual consent following a successful four year partnership.

The band have enjoyed memorable performances and had notable success under Mark’s baton that include winning the All England International Masters in 2017, 2nd place at the North West Regional Championship in 2017 and multiple victories at Rochdale Contest. Milnrow’s management team would like to publicly thank him for his hard work and commitment over the past four years.

Band Manager Frances Thewlis comments that “we can’t fault Mark’s dedication to the band over the past four years but we are now in an exciting position to shape the future of the band and we look forward to a successful 2019”.

Looking to the future the band are now in the process of appointing a new conductor, an announcement will be made in due course.
